Jordan Manufacturing, Inc. was established in 1980 when John Jordan purchased Quality Portion Pac Machine Company. The business moved to Crossville, Alabama in 1983. The original 5000 sq. ft. facility was built in 1986 and has since been expanded to over 25,000 sq. ft.
The company was incorporated in 1990. Virtually all revenues are generated from the food packaging industry through new machine sales, existing machine upgrades, spare part sales, and customer support services. Engineering for new machines and upgrades is handled directly by Jordan Mfg., Inc.
Most parts are manufactured in-house, but contract machine shops are used for non-critical parts when necessary.
Jordan Manufacturing has designed and built over 200 machines throughout the United States and Canada. Of these, the majority are small cup machines(rectangular and round cup). The remaining machines are large tray sealing machines and custom machines.
